“Ready to be Your Own Boss?”

Not everyone is fit to be their own boss.

Here are some major personality traits:

1. You say what’s actually on your mind.
Not everyone has the ability to say what is truly on their mind. The truth can be cold sometimes but when you are your own boss, it’s important that you are able to do that because you care about your company and business.

2. You go all the way to satisfy your customers and make sure the job is done.
At the end of the day, the level of customer service you have provided is what matters the most to the client. According to recent studies, customers were more interested in the level of service rather than the level of efficiency.

3. Do interviews REALLY matter that much?
Most traditional corporate offices are all about interviews. If you didn’t pass the three rounds of interviews, you didn’t get the job. But do interviews really matter that much? Today, many companies believe that performance while on the job is much more valuable than sitting in a stuffy room and asking various weird questions. Just because they are able to answer all questions thoroughly, doesn’t make them a smart and creative employee.

4. It’s not about who you are and what level you are at. It’s about things called “achievements.” Who cares about whether you are sitting as CEO or electing for the next President? People care about results and are more interested in what you have done or are capable of doing.

5. No whining.
Successful people never whine. Truly good companies find ways to motivate their employees and build up a better team. After all, there is no “I” in teamwork.

So do you have what it takes to be your own boss?
